Throughout the two-day programme, participants discussed some of the most relevant and current issues in European trade mark and design law, including:
emerging trends in EU trade mark adjudication;
proof of use and evidentiary challenges;
the evolving protection of reputed and famous marks in different jurisdictions;
the impact of artificial intelligence on legal practice and case law;
recent developments in EU design law following the legislative reform; and
the relationship between registration and infringement proceedings.
The conference provided an excellent opportunity to exchange views with colleagues and leading professionals in the field, while reflecting on the future challenges and developments shaping intellectual property law in Europe.
